LATEST BLOG: The Mike Jackson era at Tranmere Rovers has been awful so far

Podcast appearance #10: A Trip to the Moon

On Wednesday night, I joined Matt Jones and Matty Houghton on A Trip to the Moon, their Tranmere Rovers podcast, which continues to gain traction among local football fans.

I have become a regular contributor to the show, commenting on Rovers news and analysing the team's performances. It is always a pleasure to talk football with the lads and their esteemed guests, and I urge any Tranmere fan to consider subscribing to the podcast on Patreon.

I really enjoyed recording this latest episode, which focused mainly on the various ways in which the English Football League is screwing Rovers and clubs of a similar size.

In a packed agenda, we discussed the ludicrous Project Big Picture proposals; the threat of a 15-point deduction levied against Tranmere if they are unable to fulfil fixtures due to COVID-19 outbreaks in their squad; and the galling inevitability of Premier League youth teams entering the Football League pyramid.

You can find full episode details here. A Trip to the Moon subscribers pay £2.50 per month for quality Tranmere Rovers content, and we should all look to support independent initiatives like this during such difficult times.
