Writing

You will find all links my written journalism work below, broken down by publication.

The Guardian

MLB.com

MLB.com is the official website of Major League Baseball, followed by more than 20 million people across social media. In June 2019, prior to the MLB London Series between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, MLB.com featured me in an article about Britain's most dedicated baseball fans. Click here to read the full article.

New York Post

A popular tabloid, the New York Post is ready by almost 250,000 people every day. In June 2019, Ken Davidoff, the paper's esteemed national baseball writer, profiled me in its pages:

BBC Sport

Montreal Gazette and The Vancouver Sun

Lohud.com

The Journal News is a newspaper serving the New York counties of Westchester, Rockland and Putnam, a region known as the Lower Hudson Valley. Lohud.com is the paper's digital arm, forming part of the USA Today Network. In January 2016, my association with a British New York Yankees fan group led to a ghostwriting opportunity on Lohud.com. Chad Jennings, the site's Yankees beat reporter, was very gracious in extending the opportunity, and I'm really proud of this collaboration. You can read my piece about the fan group here.

Liverpool Echo

Wirral Globe

The Wirral Globe is a local newspaper covering Merseyside, particularly the Wirral peninsula, my home borough. It has a weekly circulation exceeding 100,000 readers. Details of my work with The Globe can be found below:

Society for American Baseball Research (SABR)

In 2013, I won the British Baseball Writing Award as the top performing journalist in that genre throughout the United Kingdom. My award-winning entry, reminiscing about playing baseball on a Wirral council estate as a kid, pretending to be Manny Ramirez, was published in This Diamond Isle, a journal endorsed by the Society for American Baseball Research. Download a free copy of This Diamond Isle here.
